Perdurabo – I shall endure to the end

PERDURABO or “I shall endure to the end” was magical motto (in Latin) of A. Crowley when he joined the Order of Golden Dawn on 18 November, 1898.

You can see Mark 13:13 , because Crowley knew the Bible very well:

“And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”

What follow is a poem called “Perdurabo”, taken from “Collected Works of Aleister Crowley”, published 1905 e.v.
